C&J REPAIRS • PRACTICAL FITTING GUIDE
Finger pull handles make it easier to move compatible caravan and motorhome blinds or flyscreens. Small plastic pulls can become damaged or go missing, but a replacement only works if its attachment profile matches the original.
What is a caravan blind finger pull?
Depending on the design, a finger pull is a small fitting attached to a blind or flyscreen bar or cassette component. It gives you a point to grip when moving the assembly. Different blind models use different clips and attachment methods.
Checking Seitz- and Dometic-style compatibility
Our replacement handle range is intended for selected compatible flyscreen or blind fittings. The Seitz and Dometic references identify designs to compare; they do not mean the item is a genuine branded spare or that every system under those names will accept it.
Five things to compare before ordering
- Find the existing handle or the undamaged attachment point on the blind.
- Check the handle's overall outline, mounting shape and opening or clip profile.
- Measure the fitting and compare any grooves, notches or contact points with the product images.
- Review colour and selected pack size in the product options.
- Check that the replacement can be installed without stressing the cassette or damaging the blind fabric.
Don't rely on vehicle make alone. Two caravans of the same brand may have different blind assemblies, particularly where fittings have been changed.
Replacing a damaged finger pull
Follow the blind manufacturer's instructions for removing and attaching small components. Avoid levering against fragile plastic or pulling on the blind fabric. After fitting, test movement gently and stop if the handle catches or slips.
Common questions
Are these genuine replacement handles?
No. Our listed compatible-style parts are independently made replacements unless a product explicitly states otherwise.
Are pack sizes and colours selectable?
The current product listing provides pack-size and colour variations. Check the selected options before purchase.
My cassette end clip is broken too. What should I look for?
See our caravan flyscreen end clip guide for checks on left and right clips, tabs and casing fit.
