How to Match Your Replacement Part

Check before you order

Even a small difference in shape or size can affect the fit of a replacement component. Use this guide to avoid ordering the wrong part.

1. Identify the original fitting

Look for any manufacturer reference or model number. Note where the component fits and how it is held in place.

2. Measure the existing part

Check the dimensions shown in the listing photographs. Where possible, use a ruler or digital callipers to measure the original. Pay attention to the overall length, width, thickness, fixing hole positions and clip profiles.

3. Compare the photographs

Check the shape, orientation, mounting points and any left- or right-hand differences. A matching brand name alone does not guarantee compatibility.

4. Choose the correct variation

Review colour, thickness, pack size and other selections before adding the item to your basket. Read the full product description for any exclusions or fitting guidance.

5. Ask before buying if uncertain

Email sales@candjcrafts.com with a clear photograph of the original fitting, any dimensions you can provide and the listing you're considering.

Important: Our compatibility descriptions are intended to help identify independently made replacement parts. Unless a listing explicitly says otherwise, manufacturer names do not indicate genuine branded components.
